Goodbye! x

I will miss you all!
I have very important exams coming up next year and i need to use the few months i have for serious studying.
So hear comes the bad news; I won't update for close to a year. But i promise to come back with a complete new blog makeover and better crafted posts!
However, you can still send me emails on anything and i will reply when i get back. It could be to ask me fashion/beauty/relationship/family advice, anything at all! I will devote time to replying when i get back by God's Grace!
Plus, i am counting on you guys to tell me whatever i missed when i get back(Giveaways, blog events and awards)! I might even have a giveaway to mark my return!
In the meantime, i would love it if you could comment on my older posts and the pages of this blog. If you are a new visitor, be sure to follow so when i get back and i start posting, you won't miss any of my posts!
Thank you for all the support and love throughout my blogging journey. It has not ended and i will be back.
 It will be very difficult to go online for research or project reasons and resist the urge to type blogger.com or gmail.com but i will make it through this period and come out victorious with the help of God, family and friends! I have been sinning a lot lately and i am trying to learn to be more patient and live right.

I just got nominated for the ''LIEBSTER AWARD''! It is my very first award nomination on this blog and i will be forever grateful to Cynthia for the nomination! I don't know why she picked me but i think i was just in luck.

*What has been your most embarrassing moment? A long time ago, we girls were playing around. The game was to tell them my crush and me, theirs and i went first but they never said theirs. Later on, i had a little argument with one of them and another girl who i am not very close to convinced her to go tell the guy and up till now, i can't even say we are the hi or hello kind of friends''.
*Who is your favorite band/ singer ? I am not sure because i have loads! Laura Story, Lecrae, Carrie Underwood, Don Moen, Bob Herkins? etc.
*Who's your celebrity crush? I don't really have any. I don't believe in celebrity crushes. However, i am a fan of many celebrities! Mostly, i am into their style.
* What is your favorite quote? ''I may not be the most beautiful girl or the smartest girl on earth but i know i am lucky to have you''- I will keep that for future reference.
* What is your favorite show/shows? I used to watch ''friends'' and i love it and i also love ''The one show'', ''How do i look'', ''Project Runway, i can't write all.

One Sunday...............

I took this picture one Sunday, quite a while ago but i have never really had the chance to do a post on it. So i am doing a quick post since i know i really lack fashion posts. I am doing casual with a little bit of style. It is very simple but i admit i like simple. In my eyes, it is simple stylish. You don't need to put together something outrageous to look good and unique. Just look for that inner style and always plan your outfit by yourself and then show it to someone later for opinion. The best person is your mom or dad. Brothers will just tell you they don't like it or it is okay. Nothing super super motivating. At least my brothers. But i still love them! I have fought with them a lot of time and even given them silent treatments but i want that to end and just be nice. Always have confidence in what you wear and if you commit a fashion disaster, move on. Don't let it put you down but encourage you to always look your best! I have been there and i know what i am saying!

Control Your Acne

 Acne is something that every girl at some point in her life experiences. In rare cases though, some women have never had to deal with acne. If you are like me and get pimples and zits once in a while, then today is your lucky day because i am going to give tips on how to control your acne.
1.Eat well- I love groundnuts and magarine but too much of it is not good for your skin and can make you get acne. Also, try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. You can start with really basic ones such as bananna and carrots.
2. Shower- It helps to reduce the amount of germs on your face and the rate at which you get infections..
3. Protect your skin with sunscreen- Some body lotions contain sunscreen but if yours doesn't, you can just get one at a cosmetic shop.
4. Don't pop, touch or scratch face- It just makes your acne worse.
5. Avoid washing your face more than 3 times daily- Although it sounds like a great way to reduce your zits and pimples, the turth is that it makes your acne worse and may cause a skin reaction.
6. Aloe Vera works- The Natural Aloe Vera Plant is great and continious application of the gel in it helps to have a clearer face.
7. Myths Myths Myths- Know the facts from the truth. It is not every advice that is correct and so you must try to distinguish the facts from the myths. For example, the fact that toothpaste can help with acne control is a myth and actually baseless.
8. Cheap low quality make-up- Using cheap low quality makeup can cause a rapid increase of acne on your face and the best solution in my opinion is to not use makeup at all. You can just stick to lip gloss and mascara if you want. I only use lip gloss and add light mascara on special ocassions.
9. Get an acne control cream- I try to give only natural tips on my blog so i suggest a natural acne control cream. If carefully selected, you will experience no side effects. If you do however, have a reaction, quit use and try another one. The most important thing is to contact a dermatologist for advice on selecting a good acne control cream. Don't just walk into any pharmacy and buy whatever is on sale.
10. Don't freak out- Acne is completely natural and even though it takes time for you to rid yourself of it, it will go away!
